When I studied abroad in Germany, I was known as being ‘everywhere and nowhere’. At first, it was a physical statement, as I explored much of the country and nobody ever knew where I was. With time, it also became a figurative statement to describe my passion, interests, and skills. The wide range of interest and passions meant I was versatile, perfect for any sort of situation or department. I could be everywhere and nowhere.
My History
New York: my home. The beginnings of my interests and passions. My time discovering different cultures from just the five boroughs ignited my curiosity for the cultures I could explore abroad. My frequent visits to classic museums encouraged my love for history, piqued my interest in museum curation and visual storytelling. From my love for history grew a passion for law studies. I didn’t know it at the time, but these three passions would be the perfect foundation for becoming a PR professional.

Berlin: the beginning of adulthood. Through my freshman year studying abroad in Germany, my love for history continued as I experience not only archives of the past, but witnessed history unraveling in the present and saw what it meant for the future. My passion for law remains as I notice the high level of to detail needed, specific verbiage used, and the organization needed to be successful in the fields.
Seoul: where my love for culture intertwined with my growing interest in creative storytelling. Living in Seoul during my junior year of college was amazing because of more than just the rich history and culture. Through multiple activations and exploring experimental marketing, I experienced brands communicating in ways that combine innovation and culture. A new path had opened in front of me: PR, Brand Partnerships, and Marketing.

Los Angeles: my PR path takes off. While attending USC’s graduate PR program, I am learning how to combine my interests to fuel a successful career. My love for cultures and traveling inspires me learn how to reach a multitude of people from all over the world. The organizational structure and attention to detail needed from my law-related studies and the storytelling and visual creativity I experienced from my multiple museum trips will be needed as I learn how to converse stories to the public and shape company’s brand and purpose.

wrap it up somehow about being everywhere and nowhere
